Miami Music Week reaches peak groove. PAWSA takes over LIV Nightclub Miami on Thursday, March 26, 2026 for an unforgettable night of stripped-back, dancefloor-driven tech house inside the legendary Fontainebleau Miami Beach. One of the most influential figures in the global underground scene, PAWSA brings his signature precision, rolling percussion, and carefully curated sets to Miami's most iconic nightclub during the week that matters most.

With chart-topping releases, a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, and accolades including Beatport Producer of the Year, this is tech house at its finest—inventive, hypnotic, and built strictly for the dancefloor.

About PAWSA

David Esekhile, known professionally as PAWSA, is a British DJ, producer, and label owner born on March 31, 1992 in London, England. Specializing in tech house, PAWSA has earned a reputation for his distinctive, groove-led sound—stripped-back, impactful, and built with the dancefloor in mind. His music draws on influences from classic house and hip-hop, shaped through a modern minimal-leaning lens with driving grooves, clever sampling, and understated hooks. His sound has been described as "inventive tech house with an old school vibe."

PAWSA officially launched his career in 2014 with the release of his debut EP Pilot through the renowned Lost Records. His productions quickly caught the attention of industry heavyweights including Damian Lazarus, Jackmaster, Green Velvet, Nicole Moudaber, Adam Beyer, and Pan-Pot. He released EPs on Green Velvet's Relief Records and Moudaber's Mood Records, cementing his reputation as a producer destined for lasting impact.

In 2015, PAWSA co-founded Solid Grooves Records alongside fellow tech house pioneer Michael Bibi. What began as a club night in London warehouses quickly evolved into one of the UK's leading underground imprints and event series, with regular happenings in London, Ibiza, and Berlin. In 2017, PAWSA launched his own imprint, PAWZ, as a more personal creative outlet for tracks outside the Solid Grooves sound. Solid Grooves celebrated its 100th release in 2025 with the Summer Sampler 2025 compilation, featuring PAWSA's track "Rendezvous," and held a summer-long residency at DC-10 Ibiza.

PAWSA's catalog of club-ready anthems includes fan favorites like "Party," "The Groovy Cat," "All Eyez," "Dog Days," and "Collect the Commas" (via CircoLoco Records). In late 2024, his rework of The Adventures of Stevie V's 1989 classic "Dirty Cash (Money Talks)" peaked at #3 on the UK Dance chart and amassed over 56 million Spotify streams—far surpassing any of his previous releases. His 2025 single "DOUBLE C" was featured on the official soundtrack of F1 the Movie. He also delivered a landmark BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in October 2024, showcasing two hours of his own productions alongside tracks from legends like Eddie Richards and Dauwd.

PAWSA's accolades reflect his standing at the top of the scene. He won "Best Producer" at the DJ Mag Best of Britain Awards in both 2021 and 2024, was named Beatport Producer of the Year in 2024, and is recognized as one of Beatport's Top 10 Best-Selling House Artists of All Time. Solid Grooves was awarded "Best Label" at DJ Mag's Best of British Awards in 2023. Mixmag ranked him #19 among producers who defined 2024, praising his influence in pushing deep house and dancefloor classics.

In addition to his solo work, PAWSA is one half of GOLFOS, a collaborative project with Spanish DJ and producer Dennis Cruz. The duo has delivered standout performances including a celebrated b2b set at Kappa Futur Festival in Turin. In 2025, PAWSA headlined his biggest UK show to date—PAWSA In The Park – All Day Long—at London's Gunnersbury Park. He continues to tour globally, with recent performances at EDC Mexico, ARC Music Festival Chicago, Music On Ibiza, Circoloco Amsterdam, and alongside The Martinez Brothers and Marco Carola.
