Get ready for an explosive night of high-energy house music as Irish sensation Kettama takes over LIV Nightclub Las Vegas on Sunday, March 22, 2026. Fresh off the October 2025 release of his critically acclaimed debut album
Archangel on Steel City Dance Discs and a massive global tour that's taken him from Coachella to Glastonbury, Kettama brings his signature "sledgehammer house music" to one of Vegas' most iconic venues. Known for his relentless, loop-based club sounds and face-melting energy that keeps crowds moving all night long, this Galway-born, London-based producer has become one of the most exciting names in electronic music. With over 2.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify and support from virtually every major name in dance music, Kettama promises an unforgettable night of pure, unapologetic rave energy.
About Kettama
Evan Campbell, known professionally as Kettama (stylized in all caps), was born on May 30, 1997, in Galway, Ireland, a small town on the Republic of Ireland's Atlantic coast. Despite the limited club scene and early closing hours of Irish nightclubs, Campbell discovered his passion for electronic music at age 16 when he bought a Launchpad that came with a trial of Ableton Live, where he experimented by remaking the piano from Tyga's "I'm Different." Six months later, he downloaded a cracked version of FL Studio and found it more intuitive for his sample-based workflow, beginning to upload his tracks to SoundCloud. By age 17, Kettama had begun performing in clubs, holding down the backroom at the now-defunct Galway club Carbon alongside his close friend and ongoing musical collaborator Shampain (Cóilí Collins) for the next three years while uploading his originals to the internet.
Kettama's breakthrough came in 2018 with the release of his debut EP
Bucklyn Bridge on New York's Homage Records, which featured the track "B O D Y" that gave him his significant break. The track gained international attention after frequent play by house heavyweight Mall Grab and fellow Irish DJ Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, catching the attention of Mixmag and DJ Mag and leading to a sellout of physical copies. His first major turning point came when he received an unexpected message from a promoter in China who wanted to book him for a three-day tour—this marked his first international performances even before he had played in Dublin. Upon returning to Ireland, Kettama experienced a string of career-defining moments, including a peak-time slot at Life Festival in May 2018, which he considers one of his defining experiences.
In 2019, Kettama co-founded G-Town Records with Shampain, named after their shared hometown of Galway (colloquially known as "G-Town," a term often associated with underage drinkers). The label gave them complete control over their music, artwork, and artistic vision. His production style is characterized by up-front, party-starting, warehouse-ready house music that feels close to artists like Mella Dee, Mr. G, and DJ Haus. He creates all his music "in the box" using FL Studio with heavy reliance on samples, describing his creative philosophy as sitting down and letting whatever comes out, come out—no elaborate modular setups or pretense, just pure instinct and energy.
Frustrated with Ireland's limited dance music scene, outdated clubbing laws, and lack of cultural recognition for electronic music, Kettama relocated to London during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, driven by the sheer volume of UK bookings and the more vibrant dance music scene. This move significantly upgraded his production setup and access to the international circuit. In October 2022, he delivered a standout Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, blending house, garage, and rave elements that showcased his dynamic range. His 2023 EP
Fallen Angel embraced '90s trance and Euro-dance influences, while releases like
G-Town 001,
Close Your Eyes, and
G-Town 004 continued to establish his reputation for belting, loop-based club sounds.
Kettama's touring schedule has been relentless, with performances at world-class venues and festivals including Coachella (where he delivered standout sets at the Do LaB stage), Glastonbury, Creamfields, Kappa Futur Festival, ARC Festival in Chicago, Portola Festival, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, Boiler Room at AVA Festival in Belfast, Amnesia Ibiza (where he held a residency), and countless sold-out shows across North America, Europe, South America, and Australia. He has collaborated with and performed back-to-back sets with artists including Mall Grab, Prospa, Interplanetary Criminal, Chris Stussy, Lone, and Partiboi69 (with whom he performs as KETBOI69), while also working with Tommy Holohan under the alias Samba Boys.
On October 3, 2025, Kettama released his debut studio album
Archangel via Steel City Dance Discs, a 15-track masterpiece that Rolling Stone UK listed as one of the "6 albums you need to hear this week." Praised by Clash magazine as "a genre-smashing, emotionally rich body of work that cements his status as one of underground music's most vital new voices," the album features collaborations with DJ Heartstring, Fred again.. (on the track "Air Maxes"), Interplanetary Criminal, Clouds, Prospa, Sølv, seantommy, and KLP. Notable singles include "Yosemite" with Interplanetary Criminal, "It Gets Better (Forever Mix)," "If U Want My Heart" featuring KLP with DJ Heartstring, and "Sort It Out" with Clouds. The album showcases Kettama's evolution as a producer while maintaining his signature high-energy, rave-ready sound that blends house, garage, trance, and Euro-dance influences.
Kettama's live sets have a tendency to go hard, yet within his breakneck speed there's texture, soul, and a clear attraction to melody. His style often incorporates the "jack" of original 1980s Chicago house music, combined with handbrake turns, face-melting moments, and a level of impact that demands dance floors get involved. The Irish Times described his DJ sets as "self-propulsive" and blending "nostalgic desire with modern franticness" through competing beats and samples that evoke authentic rave experiences. With support from artists including The Black Madonna, Patrick Topping, Armand Van Helden, Skream, Folamour, Honey Dijon, and countless others, Kettama continues to prove why he's one of the most vital and exciting voices in dance music today. His advice? He's vocally against Spotify's algorithm-driven discovery, preferring SoundCloud for building a genuine fanbase through instant feedback and authentic engagement.
